First Look: What Makes the GOOSKY E2 Stand Out?
Sleek Design and Vibrant Scheme
The GOOSKY E2 isn’t just functional—it looks impressive too. As a GPS RC helicopter, it sets itself apart with striking design as much as performance. "This thing looks so freaking awesome," Jay raves about the vibrant blade colors and military-inspired scheme that make it stand out from generic RC models. That signature Goosky attention to detail shines through in the removable canopy that reveals internal mechanics—what Jay calls "an amazing scheme" that adds to the premium feel. As he puts it while flying low for the camera: "Can you see the color of the blades? It’s just... dude, this thing looks so good."
Built for Stability and Ease
What sets E2 apart is its precision engineering. Unlike cheaper RC helicopters, the E2 is engineered for smooth flight. Its GPS and LiDAR sensors help maintain stability, making it ideal for beginners who struggle with balance.
What Makes the GOOSKY E2 Perfect for Beginners
Easy Controls and Auto-Stabilization
Jay praises the E2’s beginner-friendly flight system, calling it one of the easiest RTF RC helicopters he’s flown. The moment it lifts off, the helicopter maintains a steady hover—even in LiDAR mode. Its ability to self-level and auto-hold altitude reduces the stress on first-time pilots, making it an ideal choice for those new to the hobby.
Flight Modes Explained: GPS, LiDAR, and Manual
This helicopter offers three flight modes:
GPS Mode: Best for outdoor flying—locks position even in wind.
LiDAR Mode: Indoor or GPS-denied environments, but limits altitude (~30 feet).
Manual Mode: Faster response and more advanced control, but lacks full 3D capability
Even when switching modes, the transition remains smooth and predictable. However, Jay points out that manual mode retains gyro stabilization, which may limit 3D progression.
Return-to-Home and Safety Features
If the battery runs low, the E2 automatically returns and lands—a huge plus for beginners. Jay notes that you can adjust its landing position, but it won’t stop descending once the safety feature activates.

Real Flight Test: Jay Kujan’s Hands-On Experience
Hover Stability in Windy Conditions
Jay tested the GOOSKY E2 on a noticeably breezy day—and the results were impressive. Even at heights approaching 180 feet, the helicopter held rock-steady in the air. As Jay described it, “If you look at my hands on the screen, I'm not touching anything... and the helicopter is... It’s like insanely locked in, man.” Despite the visible movement in nearby trees, the E2 stayed firmly in position. He emphasized how the stabilization system made it look like the wind didn’t exist—a huge win for first-time flyers looking for confidence and control even in less-than-ideal conditions.
Limitations in Manual Mode
While manual mode on the GOOSKY E2 does offer more speed and a looser flight feel, Jay Kujan points out a key drawback: you can’t fully disable the gyro. As he puts it, “You’re never gonna be able to progress with this helicopter because you can’t take it out of that gyro mode—even in manual.” For advanced pilots looking to practice full 3D maneuvers or inverted flight, this limitation can be frustrating.
LIDAR Mode Indoor Use
Flying inside a gym or a large room? The LiDAR sensors make the GOOSKY E2 a solid choice for indoor flights. As Jay Kujan puts it, “ That’s one of the main things that I love about this helicopter because if you’re in an area without GPS or flying it in your house or a gymnasium, it’s going to fly like it has GPS mode because of those sensors.” In his demo, the E2 hovers with impressive stability—making it feel almost like it's still using GPS.
That said, if you’re a first-time pilot, it’s always best to start flying in an open area with plenty of space. While LiDAR mode is highly stable, walls, ceilings, and furniture can still pose a collision risk for new flyers who aren’t yet confident with directional control.

Pros: The Airwolf 500 series Helicopter looks and flys absolutely fantastic. First of all, it was packaged extremely well. We all know how packages delivered by carriers can be damaged and the goods inside can be damaged. The Airwolf 500 came packaged so well that there was no damage to anything inside. It's very realistic looking and I get lots of looks and great comments at the airfield. The GPS mode allows you to fly with confidence without crashing so you can hone your skills before moving on to a more difficult mode. Having three modes to choose from can give pilots with different flying capabilities a great and enjoyable flight.
Cons: Of course it took a month to receive, but man it was worth the wait. I specifically ordered the Helicopter with a mode 2 left side throttle transmitter. When it arrived it had a mode 1 transmitter and a sticker inside the Helicopter also showed mode 1. I contacted Razardon by email and was answered by a message that said, they double checked and I was sent a mode 2 transmitter and Helicopter. This made me a little frustrated and I felt like this was just a standard answer that's given when there's a problem and the issue wasn't really checked. I then sent back pictures of the sticker in the transmitter and the sticker that was inside the Helicopter that cleared showed mode 1. Which then I received a reply of an apology, that upon further checking, I did receive a mode 1. I was advised that changing from mode 1 to mode 2 was simple and was provided a link to watch a video. I did change my transmitter from mode 1 to mode 2 and it was easily done, but I wasn't advised that unlocking the Helicopter while in mode 2 was completely different then when the transmitter was mode 1. There were no instructions on this, as the only instruction I received was showing the unlocking of a mode 1 unit. It took a while searching the internet but finally stumbled across a thread of two people talking about this very issue. It was there i learned the unlocking procedure for mode 2. A few days later I did receive an email with links to unlocking in mode 2. The instructions manual could be improved and there's no instructions or pictures on how to install the provided screws and sizes for the extra parts, ie fins, guns and tail piece.
This Helicopter again looks and flys great, the retractable landing gear really sets it apart and I absolutely love flying it. The reason for only four stars is the experience I had and the ipoor instructions manual.n my humble opin
The helicopter looks perfect. I haven't taken it out of the box yet. It's winter and there's a lot of snow, I'm waiting for good weather. Thanks for the shipment. I'd like to buy another battery, please make an offer.

Gift for my husband. Was marked RTF which we thought meant Ready to Fly however there were 30 micro screws to be installed. He was very frustrated. Extra battery did not fit and caught fire when he tried to adjust.
Well the helicopter is definitely great. The company Razordon is not so great oordered my FLISHRC 500 Airwolf on September 2025, and it fill all showed up at the wrong address on December 24 2025. I kept getting excuses why it kept being delayed. I fianny was hooked up with a razordon customer rep Kiana, she was absolutely great she did whatshe needed to make me feel comfortable and not canceling the order and just buying it elsewhere. Before you purchase definitely contact them fist and find out how long it will take to ship before buying. I went thru hell. Good luck!
Really enjoyed getting this model.I'm a beginner and this has been a blast to start out with. Would recommend. Definitely get multiple batteries to keep the fun going.
