Product description
NGH started using a new carburetor for the GT17-pro two-stroke gas engine in March 2022. The GT17 was upgraded to the GT17-Pro. The new carburetor matches the engine better, looks more refined, and is easier to install. The engine performance has been further released. The idle speed and stability have been significantly improved. The idle speed has been increased from the original 2000rpm to 1700rpm (using 16*8 propellers). The high and low speed transitions are smoother, and the linear performance of the engine is fully reflected.

The GT17-Pro 17cc engine is a professional two-stroke gasoline engine built by NGH engineers for remote control enthusiasts, with a compact structure, beautiful appearance, stable performance, and abundant power.

The installation size of the GT17-Pro is equivalent to a 61-91 glow-type 2-stroke engine, and its power is comparable to that of a 91. This makes it an obvious choice for kits that require a 61-91.

The front carburetor can increase the intake volume of the carburetor through the pressure of the propeller to achieve the purpose of increasing the engine power. When installing a remote control aircraft, the front carburetor will not be interfered by the firewall. The integral bronze connecting rod is adopted. When the engine is fully run-in, the bronze connecting rod is more durable, and its wear resistance and durability far exceed the high-quality needle roller connecting rod. The cylinder liner is made of wear-resistant ductile iron, and the tolerance of the cylinder bore is within 0.01mm, which is much higher than the roundness tolerance of the aluminum alloy chrome-plated cylinder liner of 0.03 mm. In principle, the aluminum alloy chrome-plated cylinder liner does not comply with EU environmental regulations. The engine intake system adopts the crankshaft intake method, which is more accurate than the reed valve intake method. The intake time is inaccurate because the spring delay of the reed itself is different from the negative pressure of the crankcase. The optional surround exhaust pipe can effectively improve and reduce noise, and is well received by European and American RC enthusiasts.
