Doesn’t work

This was a gift to my husband and he cannot get it to work due to the battery part having two male connectors rather than one male and one female. I have sent numerous requests for instructions on how to return it, and they keep asking for a video of what is wrong. I have sent a photo of the parts that don’t match up and am awaiting a reply. This is a very unhappy customer.
